A happy crafter, retired dress maker, Great Grandmother and a wife. At the age of 8 my great grandmother taught me to crochet using grocery string. Good thing as I had to pull it out many times. She came into my life at the right time. She had the time to be patient with me but could not get me to close my mouth. I just had to learn to crochet and talk at the sme time. My first multi-tasking lesson

Month almost over
Goodness but the month of January is going fast. This Evening was the Appreciation Dinner for all volunteers of Gila Mountain Methodist Church here in the Foothills. We have grown so much in the past 2 1/2 yrs. Neil Lefthwich our Pastor is a whirl wind. With a smile and love just oozing from his body. The medicine needed for us. My work for the last 8 1/2 years in the children's ministry has been such a blessing to me. I know now why my mother made all of us attend Church and SS each Sunday. To learn about our Lord and the peace and contentment he gives us. I wish that Bob could find the same feeling that I do. We had a visit from our "granddaughter" Jetawn. She was Peter's first wife but is still so dear to us. She brought her good friend Dave along and what a package he is. Just have 3 craft shows left for the season. I miss it but a slower pace is nice also. Have made some new tatting friends and have learned a lot of new things from them.
